The Skull-Crusher Lite: Single-Arm Sky Drop SCAN DEPTH: 100%

Mechanism · Protocol Notes

Okay folks, gather round, because we're about to lower a weight behind our head one arm at a time, and if that sounds sketchy, that's because it is — but in the best possible way. Grab a weight, sit down on a bench with back support, or stand if you enjoy living dangerously. Curl it up to your shoulder, then extend that arm straight overhead so it's pointing at the ceiling like a human flagpole. Palm faces forward, pinky toward the sky. This is where the magic begins.

Now, keeping that upper arm completely, utterly, stubbornly still — I'm talking frozen in place like it's been encased in cement — bend your elbow and let the weight drift downward behind your noggin. This is the stretch. Breathe in and savor it, because your tricep is getting pulled like taffy right now.

Once you've hit bottom, reverse course by flexing the tricep and straightening the arm back to the overhead position. The upper arm did not move. It does not move. It will never move. Only the forearm participates in this journey. If your elbow starts drifting forward or flaring out, you've turned this into a completely different exercise and your tricep is filing a formal complaint.

Crush through every rep on one side, then hand the baton to the other arm. By the end, the back of your arms will feel like someone took a rolling pin to them, and that's how you know you showed up for real.
