The Lopsided Cannonball Push

Ladies and gents, allow me to present the most asymmetric, most oddly satisfying pressing motion you can perform while lying flat on the ground. We're talking about pressing a kettlebell — that wonderfully weird cannonball-with-a-handle contraption — with just one arm while your body contorts in a surprisingly strategic manner.
Stretch out on the floor with a kettlebell positioned within reach of one hand. Grip it by the handle — not like a steering wheel, more like you're shaking hands with a very round, very heavy gentleman. Here's the quirky detail: bend the leg on the same side as your pressing arm and cross that knee over the midline of your body. Why? Because this crossed-leg position opens up your torso and gives your pressing arm a wider, more dramatic path to travel through.
Press that iron sphere skyward by straightening your arm and drawing it toward the center of your body simultaneously. It's a combination press and hug, which sounds confusing but feels phenomenal in the chest muscle. Then lower it back with control to the starting spot. The unilateral nature of this move means your core has to work overtime to keep you from tipping sideways like a ship in a storm. Each rep is a masterclass in balance, stability, and raw upper-body power.
